Lauren Carnesi Daniels is a contemporary choreographer whose work centers intuition, presence, and choice as essential performance skills. Shaped through an interactive and responsive process, her choreography is physically demanding, specific, and intentionally crafted for the dancers involved. Her work spans choreographic residencies, guest teaching, teacher training, and creative consulting. Across settings, she values rigor without rigidity and process that leads to articulate, performance-ready work. She is interested in how dancers think, adapt, and show up- not just what they execute. She works with dancers, educators, and artists seeking depth, physicality, and intentionality in contemporary practice.
